Bill Borrows is a journalist, author and editor. He has written for most national newspapers including The Times, Sunday Times, the Guardian and Mail on Sunday, and was for four years a columnist for the Daily Mirror. He is Contributing Sports Editor for Esquire, having formerly been Editor-at-Large for both Loaded and Maxim.

He is the author of the bestselling Hurricane: The Turbulent Life and Times of Alex Higgins (Atlantic Books), which was nominated as one of the Sports Books of the Year by both The Times and the Sunday Telegraph, and edited The talkSPORT Book of World Cup Banter and The talkSPORT 100 Greatest Sporting Legends.
