Gershon Portnoi

Gershon Portnoi is an experienced journalist who has worked for Nuts, talkSPORT and the Press Association. Currently the deputy editor of men's lifestyle title ShortList, Gershon wrote his first book in 2009, telling the incredible story of renegade commercial radio station talkSPORT in Ten Years of talkSPORT.

Gershon graduated with honours from the University of Manchester where he studied Politics & Modern History, two fields he has totally ignored since embarking on a career as a sports writer which was interrupted by a couple of years in television journalism for Nuts. While working at talkSPORT, Gershon made regular appearances on the breakfast and drive shows to promote the online magazine he helped to launch and also reviewed the papers on the late night show

Currently residing in the leafy luxury of London's Willesden Green, Gershon is married and is the proud father of Jake.
