Mark Chapman

Mark Chapman (aka 'Chappers') is a sports presenter, journalist and BBC Radio 1 DJ. He has been writing, producing and broadcasting on sport since 1996, starting out as the Cricket Correspondent for BBC North East Radio before moving to BBC Radio 1, where he worked with Sara Cox on her Breakfast and Drive Time shows.

Mark regularly hosts BBC Radio 5 Lives 606 football phone-in, and currently presents the BBC Radio 1 Drive Time show with Scott Mills. He also regularly teams up with 'Comedy Dave' to present various weekend shows on BBC Radio 1, and for their university roadshow.

Mark presented Rugby League Raw for BBC One and last summer was asked to present three special Cricket 606 shows covering the Twenty 20 tournament for BBC Radio 5 Live. Mark presents the Times Online Cricket Podcast, and his new Podcast for the Littlewoods Pools - Mark Chapman's Premier League Podcast.

In 2007/8 Mark anchored Five TV's Serie A coverage, Football Italiano, as well as Five TV's weekly football show, Football Night, and now anchors that station's UEFA Cup coverage. Mark was also recently asked to take part in the FA's Respect Campaign advert, and was seen on the BBC 1 Sport Relief programme, All Out For India.

Mark is a highly experienced and engaging corporate host. He recently hosted the Red Bull Flug Tag event in Hyde Park to 80,000 people and for the second year has been asked by the ECB to host their Twenty 20 live match coverage.
