Tessa Cunningham

Tessa Cunningham was born in Farnborough. After attending St Anne’s Convent Comprehensive, Southampton, she read English at St Anne’s College, Oxford, and then took a diploma in journalism at Cardiff University. Her first job in 1982 was on the Sheffield Star. She joined The Sun in 1986, working first as a news reporter, then a show business reporter and finally as a feature writer. She has been freelance since 1991, working for a variety of publications including the Daily Mirror, Bella, Best, Woman and Home and Woman’s Own. For the last 12 years she has worked almost exclusively for the Daily Mail’s Femail pages. Tessa lives in Winchester, Hants with her father and two daughters.
