Tom Sykes

Tom Sykes is a writer and journalist. He trained as a news reporter on the Evening Standard and Daily Telegraph, before moving to New York in 2003 where he was nightlife reporter and gossip columnist for the New York Post. Tom now lives in Ireland with his wife, two children and three pigs and writes for a wide variety of publications, including the Sunday Times Style section and the Daily Mail, and he has recently started a high-profile fortnightly column in the new Saturday Times Weekend section.

Tom’s memoir, What Did I Do Last Night? A Drunkard’s Tale, was published by Ebury in 2007. He has co-written with Detmar Blow the book Blow by Blow: The Story of Isabella Blow (HarperCollins), and is working with John Taylor on his upcoming autobiography.
