As the Costa Writer-in-Residence, Davey Spens decided to combine 3 of his favourite things; people-watching, coffee-drinking and writing. The end result is an eclectic collection of short stories written specifically to stimulate your central nervous system. Amongst the eccentric, the mundane and the just plain strange, you'll discover a glamorous lady in a waterproof jacket, a man in a bulging hat, a smiling stewardess, lots of very tall people and all sorts of other weird and wonderful characters.
